How to Make No Knead 3-Ingredient Beer Bread

Warm bread fresh from the oven is really one of the best things that you can put in your mouth. Typically though it requires a lot of time in the kitchen and either a good mixer or a lot of arm work. That's until this 3-Ingredient Beer Bread recipe made its way into your kitchen. Super simple and packed with flavor, this beer bread is the perfect accompaniment to a hearty stew or cup of soup.

What About the Yeast and Kneading?

This recipe uses self-rising flour and beer, so there is no need to add yeast or salt.

    What Type Of Beer?

This recipe can be made with any type of beer but in our test kitchen, a pilsner tasted best. If you are a beer drinker go with something you like the taste of.

    INGREDIENTS

    • 1 can or bottle of dark beer (12 ounces)
    • ½ cup sugar
    • 3 cups self-rising flour

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Pre-heat oven to 350
    2. Mix together all three ingredients in a medium bowl, then transfer to a greased loaf pan. I like to use a small pie or cake pan.
    3. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

    Butter on Top

Drizzling or even pouring warm melted butter on top is optional but once you do you'll never want to skip it!
