The Best Guinness Beer Burgers Recipe. These thick, juicy Guinness Burgers are moist and tasty. The recipe is quick and easy and soon to be a favorite.

Hamburgers have to be one of the best year-round items you can make. Burgers can be made in the house in a pan on the stovetop, in the oven or our personal favorite, out on the grill. Today we're sharing the best Guinness beer burger recipe.

These burgers can be topped with your traditional cheese, lettuce, and sliced tomatoes but we think the burger is best when you pile on the beer basted mushrooms.

    Beer Burger Ingredients

2 lbs ground beef (we used 90/10 )
    ½ cup Guinness Beer
    ¼ cup Worcestershire Sauce
    2 tablespoon minced onion
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    6 large hamburger buns
    Toppings of your choice

    Instructions for Making Beer Burgers

    1. Begin by placing your ground beef in a large bowl.
    2. Mix together Guinness, Worcestershire, minced onion, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
    3. Pour over the top of the beef, and mix into the meat. The liquid will mix in completely.
    4. Marinate for at least 1 hour, up to 8 hours in the fridge.
    5. Heat up your grill to a medium-high heat
    6. Divide the meat into 6 portions, and form hamburger patties. The thicker the burger the longer it will take to cook. It’s best not to go over about 1″.
    7. Grill each patty for approximately 5 minutes each side (for medium-medium well burgers).
    8. Top with your favorite toppings. We suggest our beer basted mushrooms.

This is basically my husband's dream meal right here! He's always loved Guinness beer and was so jealous that I got to have some at a real Irish pub when I was there with my family over 10 years ago. And burgers are one of his favorite things to grill. We will definitely be trying this out when the weather cools enough to be outside at the grill in a month or two!

I second everything Stephanie said (except about the Guinness in an Irish pub - now I'm jealous of her, too!). Can see my hubby grilling this recipe some night very soon...

This burger recipe seems super easy and delicious. I had never thought about adding beer to a burger but I will try this recipe next time I make burgers.

I love burgers and beer. I like spirits in my recipes as it adds a different consistency and flavor to what is being cooked. My husband would absolutely love this too.

I like neither beer nor burgers. Although I like the fact that people's tastes are so different. ?

Wow. Thank you for the recipe. I would like to make this for the party on Sunday. A better and healthier version than ordering from outside.
